The Sun Symphony Orchestra kicks off 2020 with Award winning British guest conductor Paul McCreesh as he interprets the richly atmospheric cityscape of English composer, Ralph Vaughan William’s “A London Symphony”. Founder of the Gabrieli Consort, Maestro McCreesh has cultivated an international reputation for excellence and innovation. His recordings have garnered a multitude of awards including the coveted Gramophone Award and the BBC Music Magazine Award. McCreesh is well-known for the energy and passion that he brings to his music-making. A specialist in the music of the Renaissance and Baroque periods, he also regularly conducts orchestras such as the DSO Berlin, RSO Berlin, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Minnesota Orchestra, Gothenburg Symphony, and the Orchestra Sinfonica dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia di Roma.
