Two of the most well-known composers of the Classical Period are featured by Maestro Olivier Ochanine and the Sun Symphony Orchestra. Joseph Haydn’s Symphony No. 100 “Military” and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2 will have listeners at the edge of their seat.

Friendship and Admiration

A night of chamber music will be performed by the string players of the Sun Symphony Orchestra. Brahms String Quartet No. 2 in A minor and Dvorak’s String Quintet add a Slavic flavor to the Bohemian evening. Come share in the spirit these two master composers.

The mystical sounds of the night come to awaken the senses in this evening’s concert. Mozart’s Serenade for Winds in C minor is defiantly dark in character while Schoenberg’s Verklarte Nacht introduces you to a world that many have not been to before. When night has fallen anything can happen.

Beethoven the Master

The Beethoven Septet in Eb Major, op.20 was one of the composer’s most popular works during his lifetime. Composed when he was only 30 years old it is written for a mixed ensemble of strings and woodwinds. Come hear members of the SSO perform this famous work that had followed Beethoven throughout his lifetime.
